Corinna Wilderness Experience

We invite you to a totally different tourism experience. In this accessible yet remote historical mining town on the West Coast of Tasmania, you will be able to unlock the stories of the pioneers in a setting that has been unchanged for millions of years. The sheer beauty and global significance of this temperate rainforest make a Corinna experience compelling. We strive to provide access to this asset in a way that is sustainable, in our eco friendly wilderness retreat.

Corinna is your home in the wilderness – an oasis in the heart of the Tarkine. There are plenty of accommodation alternatives at Corinna, including one original miner’s cottages (one and two bedroom options), an old guest house (with single and double rooms and shared kitchen and bathroom facilities), and fourteen new cottages built to the original style, but with modern amenities including ensuites The new accommodation offers ten one bedroom cottages with Queen beds and four two bedroom cottages. The cottages all back directly onto the Tarkine rainforest. They have their own verandahs, fully equipped kitchens, rainwater tanks and heating.
